Domestic Battery, 720 ILCS 5/12-3.2, 720 ILCS 5/12-0.1

(4) “Family member” means a parent, grandparent, cousin, sibling, or kid, whether by entire blood, half-blood, or use and features a step-grandparent, step-parent, step-brother, step-sister or step-child. “Family member” entails just about any individual who frequently resides in the home, or whom, in the previous six months, frequently resided in your family.
